Do Kilimanjaro.
With Andrew Mshuza

"Do" means action. Not just dreaming about the roof of Africa — but actually climbing it. I've been doing Kilimanjaro since 2008, first as a porter, then as a guide since 2012. Now I own my own company, and I personally lead every trek.

Andrew Mshuza at Stella Point

From Porter to Owner.
Do Kilimanjaro is My Life.

I'm Andrew Mshuza, born in Moshi, at the gate of Kilimanjaro.

2008: I started as a porter, carrying bags up the mountain. I learned every trail, every camp, every challenge a climber faces.

2012: Became a licensed guide. For 12 years, I led treks for other companies — Machame, Lemosho, Marangu, Rongai, Umbwe, Northern Circuit, Shira. I've guided over 500 successful summits.

2023: I started Do Kilimanjaro — my own company. No middlemen. No big-agency prices. Just me, my team, and honest service.

✅ Why climbers choose me:

  • Direct communication – WhatsApp, call, email. You talk to ME, not a sales agent.
  • Any group size – Solo climber? 10 friends? 50-person corporate trek? We handle it.
  • All 7 routes – Whatever your fitness and timeline, I'll recommend the right path.
  • Transparent pricing – What I quote is what you pay. No hidden "park fee increases."
  • Ethical team – I pay porters fairly, provide proper gear, and treat everyone with respect.

"Andrew knows Kilimanjaro better than anyone I've met. He spotted my altitude sickness before I felt it. Without him, I wouldn't have made it."
— Michael, USA (climbed Feb 2025)
"We were a group of 12. Andrew handled everything perfectly — permits, gear, food, morale. Flawless."
— Trekking Club, Netherlands (Sept 2024)

Why "Do Kilimanjaro"?

"Do" means action, not just dreaming.

Many people talk about climbing Kilimanjaro. Some buy gear, read blogs, make plans — and never go. Do Kilimanjaro is for the ones who actually do it. The ones who book the trek, show up in Moshi, and put one foot in front of the other until they stand at Uhuru Peak.

My name is Andrew Mshuza. I've been doing Kilimanjaro since 2008 — first as a porter, then as a guide, now as an owner. Let me help you do it too.

Questions? Ask Andrew Directly.

Is Do Kilimanjaro a licensed company?

Yes. Registered in Tanzania (license #TZ-2023-789). I'm a certified wilderness first responder and have been guiding since 2012.

Can you handle large groups?

Absolutely. I have a trained team of assistant guides, porters, and cooks. We've done groups of 30+ with no issues. Just give me advance notice.

What if I don't summit?

Safety is #1. We do daily health checks. If you're unwell, we descend. Many companies charge extra for rescue. I don't. Your life matters more.

Do I need to book months in advance?

Not necessarily. 2-3 months is ideal, but I've booked climbs 2 weeks before. Just contact me and I'll check availability.
