Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Evening briefing and equipment check with your guide.
Drive to Umbwe Gate and begin a steep, direct climb through dense rainforest. Reach Umbwe Cave Camp (2,850m).
Continue along Umbwe ridge and merge with the Machame Route. Beautiful valley and ridge views on the way to Barranco Camp (3,960m).
Climb the Barranco Wall, cross ridges and valleys to reach Karanga Camp (4,035m). Important acclimatization day.
Ascend rocky terrain to Barafu Camp (4,673m). Rest early in preparation for the midnight summit push.
Start at midnight for the summit climb. Reach Stella Point (5,756m) and then Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Descend to Barafu for rest, then continue to Mweka Camp (3,100m) for overnight.
Descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate. Collect summit certificate and transfer to Moshi for celebration dinner.
