Climb through moorland and heath zones. Navigate the iconic Barranco Wall and reach Barranco Camp (3,950m).
Ascend steadily to Barafu Camp (4,600m). Rest and prepare for the midnight summit climb.
Begin summit climb around midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise. Descend via Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate. Transfer back to Moshi for celebration.
