Drive to Lemosho Gate (2,100m) and start trekking through lush rainforest. Overnight at Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820m).
Climb gradually from the forest into moorland, reaching Shira 2 Camp (3,850m) for acclimatization and scenic views.
Descend slightly across the plateau and traverse to Barranco Camp (3,950m), navigating the iconic Barranco Wall along the way.
Cross the Karanga Valley to reach Barafu Camp (4,600m), the base camp for the summit climb. Rest and prepare for midnight departure.
Begin around midnight for the summit climb. Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise, then descend to Mweka Camp (3,100m) for overnight stay.
Final rainforest descent to Mweka Gate. Collect summit certificate and transfer back to Moshi for celebration.
