Register at Machame Gate (1,790m) and begin the trek through lush rainforest. Arrive at Machame Camp (3,010m) after 5–6 hours.
Ascend a steep ridge and enter the moorland zone. Cross the Shira Plateau to Shira Camp (3,840m) with great views of Kibo.
Climb to Lava Tower (4,630m) for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp (3,950m). This climb-high sleep-low approach improves altitude adaptation.
Start by climbing the famous Barranco Wall. Continue through ridges and valleys to Karanga Camp (4,035m). A short day for better acclimatization.
Hike to Barafu Camp (4,680m). Early dinner and rest as you prepare for the summit attempt at midnight.
Start the climb at midnight toward Stella Point (5,756m). Continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). After celebrating, descend to Barafu for brunch, then to Mweka Camp (3,100m).
Final descent through lush rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate and return to Moshi for a well-deserved rest.
